What our students think about Kayo Piano Studio

This piano studio has several rooms with different types of pianos. The one used for my lesson is spacious with two grand pianos. Ms. Kayo is fun and kind and gives me very helpful instructions both technical and musical. She encourages me to try a variety of music pieces so I won’t get bored. I’m over 50 and still feel I can improve my piano skills under her instruction!

A Message from Kayo

Hello, everyone! My name is Kayo, and I’ve been teaching piano for over 30 years.

Much of my teaching experience comes from working with my own daughter. Thanks to her dedication, she achieved first place in California at the age of 10. Now that she’s grown and independent, I’ve decided to use my expertise to support the local community by opening this studio.

Like many parents, I’ve grappled with questions like: How can I encourage my child to practice willingly? and What approaches can boost their motivation? Drawing on my personal experience, I strive to help each student achieve their individual goals.

It’s a joy to connect deeply with both students and their parents, not only teaching piano but also sharing in their growth journeys along the way.
